Bay Malton Waters

Bath pool only has six pegs but they are set in beautiful surroundings that are sure to please most anglers. All the pegs are set well away from each other so you will have a feeling of spaciousness.

Known species Roach, Rudd, Chub, Carp, Tench, Bream, Gudgeon, Perch and Crucian Carp.

CLOSED SEASON FROM MARCH 15TH TO JUNE 16TH

Rules

  • No wading or swimming.
  • Baits banned boilies, dog & cat food.
  • Barbless hooks only.
  • No Braided line allowed.
  • No night fishing allowed.
  • Fishing from stagings only.
  • One rod only allowed.
  • Keep nets must be emptied every 5 hours.
  • Keep net ban from the 1st March to 16th June.
  • Fishing from dawn till dusk.
  • All litter to be taken home with you.
  • Anyone leaving litter will be dealt with as club rules.
  • Anglers under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
  • All anglers MUST have a current E.A rod license.
  • Parking on the grass verge.
  • All Vehicles must display a club car sticker.
    Gates to be kept closed and locked at all times.
  • Gate code can be found on the back of the front cover of your membership book (Members are reminded that these codes should not be shared with any other person)

This delightful water is stocked with Tench, Bream, Carp, and Perch. The mature pool is approximately one and a half acres in size and set in a secluded location between Haslington and Sydney, Crewe. This water has good access and includes car parking.

The water will continue to be used as a mixed fishery, and with some of the resident Carp growing to 16lb, it should provide Bay Malton members with a relaxing, yet entertaining days angling as it is situated in a rural location. A fishery management program will be put in place to further develop the fish stock making it an attractive option for members to drop in on for some action.

Access by Car

Access to the pond on Bradley Hall Lane by car is possible from Primrose avenue via Crewe Road or The dingle in Haslington. For SATNAV use postcode CW1 5QN.

There are adequate parking facilities available.

Access by foot

You can also reach the pool on foot via the Sydney to Haslington track.

We are to be found about 5 miles from Junction 16 of the M6 or 2 miles from Crewe station.

  • Anglers 14 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
