Bay Malton – Bath Pool

Bay Malton – Bath Pool

I have SO much to say about Bath Pool, honestly. This place seriously needs a ton of TLC, like ASAP. It’s kinda rough.

Security? Forget it. Anyone can just walk in from anywhere—total joke. When I got there, the gate wasn’t even locked. Sketchy.

Also, the whole pond is raised? Like, super high shrubs all around. Fishing from those stagings feels mad dangerous—I wouldn’t risk it. They look super unstable.

Water levels were low AF, with random branches and planks floating everywhere. Probably kids messing around, but seriously, an accident waiting to happen.

Getting access with tackle? Forget it. No way you’re dragging a barrow through there—trip hazards everywhere. Plus, this huge tree has fallen in on the far side (check my vid). Good luck moving that.

Parking? Barely fits five cars max on the grass verge. Such a pain.

But hey—despite all that? I low-key love the vibe here. Bay Malton seem chill about their main spot, Border Fisheries Crewe. Just wish they’d fix this place up, y’know?
