Wine Cork Hack for disgorgers

Posted on December 6, 2025 By steve

Don’t throw your wine corks away yet! Here’s a super handy fishing trick: turn them into better grips for your disgorgers. Check out the pics—just chop the corks to fit different disgorger sizes.

Disgorgers suck to handle when they’re wet, right? This hack makes ’em way easier to grip while you’re unhooking fish by the water.

All you gotta do: cut the corks to size, poke a hole through the middle, and slide ’em onto your disgorgers. Boom—suddenly they’re way less slippery!

If this tip helped you out, drop a like or comment!
