General Fishery Rules
- No Alcohol or drugs. These will not be tolerated.
- Be courteous to others, antisocial behaviour will not be accepted.
- Never leave rods unattended.
- Fishing allowed from allocated pegs only.
- Please drive and park sensibly whilst on site. Do not park on the grass.
- Please do not block roads as this is a hinderance to other users.
- Please use the litter bins provided. No litter, cigarette butts or tea bags to be left on the bank.
- No under 18’s allowed without a parent/guardian angler who is supervising whilst also fishing. The exception to this rule only applies for an experienced angler who is teaching a child how to fish where they are not fishing themselves.
- Please use the toilets provided.
- Please ensure you have a valid EA rod licence (checks will be made)
- No fires or disposable BBQ’s.
- No Drones allowed at the fishery.
- Please ensure appropriate footwear is worn at all times for the conditions encountered.
- 2 rods only to be used at any one time.
- No sharing of mats or net. Each angler must have their own equipment.
- No keep nets. Matches only
- No bait boats.
- No live fish to be brought onto site.
- No fish to be taken from site.
- No nuts
- No standing with fish at any time.
- Return fish to the water as soon as possible.
- Barbless hooks only – max size 12” . No braided line allowed .
- Feeders/Bombs must be free running/ in line
- No elasticated method feeders
- All fish over 6oz must be netted.
- No bait to be thrown in after your session or thrown on the bank.
- Ground bait via cup or feeder only
- Pole rigs must have a float. No over-shotted floats
- Failure to comply with any of the rules will result in removal and a ban.
- We operate a no refund policy.
- Gardening is not allowed apart from the removal of overhanging grass or weeds. Do not trim plants or reeds or pull vegetation out of the water
- No dogs are allowed on site.
