Get out fishing! 

Autumn truly is one of the best times of the year to get out fishing. Fish in rivers, canal and stillwaters are now in prime condition after the rigours of spawning in the spring and summer, and are often quite obliging to feed as they look to fatten up before winter.

 

So why not get yourself out there this half-term, and enjoy the full splendour of the great British outdoors in its autumn glory. And remember, there are still a number of angling participation events happening across the country with tackle, instruction and next-steps information all included on the day.

 

Remember to check if your licence is still valid before you go fishing and if it has expired get a new one here:
